The 60-watt MagSafe Power Adapter features a magnetic power connector that ensures your power cord is instantly disconnected from the computer when subjected to severe strain. This will prevent damage to the cable and computer. The magnetic plug also ensures that the system can be connected to the power grid quickly and securely.

If the connection is correct, an LED indicator on the connector will light up. A yellow light indicates that the mobile computer is charging, while a green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. The power pack comes with an extension cord, with the wall plug (also included) making it particularly easy and uncomplicated to connect to the mains, especially when you're on the move.
