Bosch Smart Home Relay

The multifunctional Bosch Smart Home Relay uses potential-free contact to switch different electrical devices – e.g. suitable garage doors, ventilation systems, pumps, sockets and lighting – and thus makes them smart. It can be controlled flexibly, e.g. via wall switches/buttons, time programs, individual scenarios and automations or even mobile via app. Selected functions can also be controlled via voice control with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri.
The relay is invisibly installed in the wall: it is simply installed behind existing wall switches/buttons or in distribution boxes – with weatherproof installation boxes (IP66) it can also be used outdoors. The relay also functions as a repeater that amplifies the radio signal of certain Bosch Smart Home devices. This extends the range of the Bosch Smart Home system and enables devices to be used even at a greater distance from the controller (e.g. in the basement).
The smart relay can be integrated into Apple HomeKit, Amazon and Google Home. This means it can also be combined with compatible devices from other manufacturers.

• Flexible selectable mode: “On/Off” (manual switching on/off and time programs possible) or “current surge” (brief switching on as a signal for a central pulse relay, e.g. for stairwell light, garage door)
• Size: 40.5x47x22 mm (HxWxD). Fits in standard flush-mounted (min. 50 mm deep) and surface-mounted boxes ^*
• Warns of overheating. Switches off automatically and informs via app
• Child safety lock function in the app to lock the manual wall switch/button
• Easy installation with step-by-step instructions in the app ^**
• Can only be used in combination with the Bosch Smart Home Controller

^* Additional information:
• When installing in flush-mounted boxes, a depth of at least 50mm is required. For optimal installation, a box depth of at least 60mm is recommended.
• To power the dimmer, a permanent 230V power supply with a conductor and a neutral conductor is required.
^** 230V AC devices may only be installed by authorized personnel.
