Sonnet Fusion SSD M.2 2×4 PCIe Card
High-speed data transfers
If you need to add internal storage to your computer and high-speed data transfers are critical to your work,
you shouldn't think about 2.5-inch SATA SSDs: you need an NVMe SSD-based upgrade. Today's NVMe PCIe SSDs offer tremendous performance.
2.5-inch SATA SSDs can easily outperform them. With Sonnet's M.2 2×4 PCIe card, you can mount two M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs on a single x16 card slot.
This will give you a completely new way of working!
With the Sonnet M.2 2×4 PCIe card installed in your Mac Pro® tower; Windows® PC desktop or server; or Thunderbolt to PCIe card expansion system with an
available x16 PCIe slot. You can use it for instant data storage or as a high-performance work disk. Mac® users can even install macOS® on an SSD,
to create an incredibly fast boot drive. (2) However you use this KArte, the performance is impressive.
Key features:

Notes:
You can install fewer than four SSDs now and add more later without reformatting the existing ones.
Only M.2 SSDs with a length of 2280 (80mm – the most common length) and with storage components on the top only are supported. M.2 SSDs,
that are longer or shorter than 80 mm do not fit. M.2 SSDs with components on both sides will not fit.
SSDs connected to the Sonnet card appear to macOS as external drives. Booting from an external SSD in macOS 10.14.6+ requires
enabling external booting in the security settings, which can be set in a command-R (recovery system).
